  erik and i headed out today...on what i considered to be the most perfect weather any day could possibly muster.

made a logan's run. 

fantastic plant (and other fun stuff) wonderland in an old train station.

though it is early spring, they already had a mecca of earthly delights. history tells me that in a couple of weeks, the place will be off the hook busy and overflowing with temptation.

we ate at the seaboard cafe, surrounded by life and green and laughter and happy air.

i had yum delish pistachio chicken salad that i am now going to have to figure out. erik found out that he really likes pickled carrots. 

here is my new little violet. i wanted another one for my worktable but it is never easy for me to choose as they all, without consideration or mercy, call out to me.                                                                            ⇰

headed to ornamentea today. my local-ish bead and art supply store. one thing that i love about the store is that it drenches your senses as you pull up to the lime green building. gorgeous colors, the oh so fanastic adorn sign and it just gets better inside.  

this was some incredible vine that grows over a fence edging their space. i think i took 50 photos of it because it was so fantastic. don't know what it is, but really want to know. so if anyone knows...

when i was a kid, i used to pick copious bouquets of tee tiny flowers for my mom. i always had to gather white flowers, buttercups and at least a blue or purple flower. i would pinch their tiny stems between my fingers, holding them just perfectly until i could get home. i think of those little masterpieces every single time i see the new little flowers sprout. the last thing i gave my mom was a big bouquet of oriental lilies...huge blooms and bigger fragrance. just wishing for a moment to give her one more teeny bouquet. 

i can't say why but i really don't like tulip trees. since they really give it their all, i thought i should give them their props.  consider them given.

views from one of my favorite shops. morgan imports. all the metal work on their boardwalk is made from the old laundry that was in their building before they were...years ago. wish that i could capture the beauty of it...even a palm tree made of old pipes. so clever.

but today, on a quick run out, i was taking shots of a tree that is coming into bloom when this nutjob literally jumped UP into my shot. 

since he is photo-phobic, he shan't be named but this photo had to be the one. even got permission. wowzers!

the same flower as in yesterday's photo but with the ever so helpful aid of sunlight. figured that while i loved yesterday's blur, this tiny little daffodil that could deserved to be seen for her truest beauty.

i love this photo. 

shows just how bad i am at taking night photos and how much i love how life's colors melt into the most delectable morsels. add to that if these photos are meant to be a moment of my day, then this blur is one moment that encapsulates my entire day.

my canine nephew...boscoe and i hung out a bit today while his mom and dad were at the hospital. 

lots of puppy kisses, tail wagging, playing and hugs. he is so, oh soft and cuddly!
