this fella has been living in my in-laws garage for 3 months! he lounges in a bowl of water, goes nose to nose with the cat and seems happy as, well, a toad. he wasn't afraid of me coming to take his photo and while he could leave anytime he wanted to, a toad knows when he's got it good.

Is he a leaf bug?

 I am finding the coolest greenies lately. This guy was on the screen. He was HUGE!

 Do bugs have pupils? Was my camera making his little pupil dilate? One is tiny and the other is big and looking at me. Hm...

this is one cute hiney. i hope that this isn't some inappropriate bug bit.

then i found this tiny fella. he was not quite so extroverted and quickly but ever so nonchalantly scooted around the desert rose's stalk until he was directly out of sight. cutie pie.
