i want to take a photo of the air,
of this morning.
of the birds singing
somewhere in the leaves.
i want to capture the
faint sweetness,
hanging on the breeze
from blooms i cannot see.
what i have is you,
fluttering, paper thin, gentle,
soft lime as the sun
shines through you.
and that is enough.

maybe i was wrong
i was enchanted by the photos of the white stuff, falling everywhere but here. desperate for a bit of fluff. to step deep into winter and give myself to it.
but i was wrong. this little chocolate vine, new last spring, popped up and said hi, reminding me that i don't live in the dormant. i live for the spring.

green infusion
after the mini ice balls posing as snow incident, uninspiring weather and the tether of this cast, my soul got just what it needed. a green infusion, shot straight into my soul. reminding me that there is growth. there is rebirth. there is tomorrow and even better, that there is beauty, right here and right now. thanks little leaf. i'll be watching over your glorious life. enjoy it.

coming to the point
a narcissus bulb that was given to me by dawn and michelle as part of my body, mind, spirit christmas gift. i have liberated bulbs before (i hate the term force...i am giving them an opportunity to bloom freely) and i am fascinated and delighted every time. thanks, guys! this was an awesome idea!

photo a day...the mighty and mini green
I am finding the coolest greenies lately. This guy was on the screen. He was HUGE!
Do bugs have pupils? Was my camera making his little pupil dilate? One is tiny and the other is big and looking at me. Hm...
this is one cute hiney. i hope that this isn't some inappropriate bug bit. |
then i found this tiny fella. he was not quite so extroverted and quickly but ever so nonchalantly scooted around the desert rose's stalk until he was directly out of sight. cutie pie. |
